The main reason I decided to leave a successful career in the telecommunications industry was because of the last house my husband and I purchased.
We used a traditional agent who was only interested in collecting a commission. He did not show us properties that fit our needs, we did most of the looking in various neighborhoods and we found a lender with whom we felt comfortable.
We used the inspector that our agent recommended and ended up with many more issues after closing than anyone should have. Even arriving at the house to move in, we found that the seller was still in the house with a couple of rooms still to move. Our agent did nothing about contacting the other agent. It was a very uncomfortable situation.
Right then and there, I decided that someone should really care about buyers. After working for a year as a traditional agent to gain experience, I became an Exclusive Buyer Agent. There is no better way to buy a home than with me! I believe in you!
